Introducing Our Awards Program
The Galaxy Gymnastics Awards (GGA) program launches young gymnasts on an exciting, skill-based journey through the universe of gymnastics.
With stages from Foundation to Advanced, gymnasts build confidence, technique, and a love for the sport, all at their own pace. Each level is a new mission, filled with challenges to conquer and milestones to celebrate.
Watch your little astronaut rise through the ranks, collecting medals, and celebrating every milestone as they flip, fly, and soar among the stars!

galaxy gymnastics awards (GGA)
The Galaxy Gymnastics Awards (GGA) is our structured in-house evaluation program that tracks, assesses, and celebrates each student's progress in gymnastics. It is designed to help students of all levels—whether recreational or developmental—build a strong foundation across various apparatus such as floor, beam, bars, vault, rings, and trampoline.
The program is divided into three progressive stages:
Foundation (Stages 1–6)
Intermediate (Stages 7–12)
Advanced (Stages 13–18)
Each stage includes 14 skills, and students must confidently demonstrate at least 12 out of 14 skills to earn a medal for that stage. Evaluations are conducted twice a year during designated assessment weeks. Students are assessed on control, form, safety, and technique, aligned with their class level and attendance frequency.

What makes the GGA Different?
-
Progression with Purpose: Skills become more challenging as students move through the stages, gradually preparing them for developmental and competitive pathways.
-
Tailored Support: Evaluations help our coaches identify each student's current abilities and readiness, so lessons can be personalized to target areas for improvement.
-
Healthy Expectations: Not receiving a medal on their evaluation is not a failure — it's simply part of the process. Many students need more than one evaluation period to master certain stages, especially from Stage 4 onwards where the complexity increases.
-
Development-Ready Pathways: Typically, students attending once-a-week recreational classes progress steadily through Stages 1–3. From Stage 4 and up, consistent training and commitment are needed for continued advancement.
A Note to Parents
Your support fuels your child’s progress. Whether your child earns a medal this round or is still working toward it, we’re proud of their efforts — and of your role in helping them develop confidence, resilience, and joy in movement. At Galaxy Gymnastics, we believe that gymnastics is a continuous learning journey — one that grows through practice, exploration, and perseverance, not through memorization or academic-style testing. Every child progresses at their own pace, and every attempt, skill, and improvement is worth celebrating. The Galaxy Gymnastics Awards (GGA) is more than an assessment — it’s a celebration of milestones in motion, and a reflection of your child’s evolving strength, confidence, and love for the sport.
